WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF DI GI CHARAT, CREATED BY KOGE DONBO!
Di Gi Charat all started with a contest to create a mascot for the anime store Gamers, and a woman from Tokyo named Koge Donbo wins with her lovely mascots, Dejiko and Gema. They have grown so popular to spawn an anime series, comic books, and video games.

THE MAIN PLOT
Di Gi Charat is about Dejiko who comes from the planet Di Gi Charat and crashes on earth. Along with her guide Gema, they learn to live and work for an anime store in Akhibara witht a strange new set of friends. |

CHARACTERS!
DEJIKO (DI GI CHARAT)
Dejiko or Digi Charat is the princess of the planet Di Gi Charat comes crashing to earth one day in her space ship. She lands in the district of Japan called Akihabara (Shopping). The manager of a store called Gamers asks Dejiko and her sister Puchiko or Petit Charat to work and live above Gamers. Dejiko works hard to be cute and wants to be a pop idol. She uses an eye attack called MI KARA BIIMUU and ends all her sentances in NYO! (The japanese word for the sound a cat makes.) She may appear cute, but she can be rude, cute and sometimes a little eechi (perverted).
GEMA
Gema is the yellow round guardian of Dejiko and Puchiko. He often gives Dejiko advice and even though he is often victim to her eye attacj MI KARA BIIMU! He will always be her friend.
PUCHIKO (PETIT CHARAT)
Puchiko is the sister of Dejiko, she is small and cute, and is much kinder to Gema. She works at Gamers. Though she has a less powerful MI KARA BIIMU! She tends to use it on Mr. Long Hair. She also wants to be an idol singer.
RABI*EN*ROSE (HIKARU UTADA)
Rabi en Rose also works at Gamers and is a rival Idol Singer to Dejiko. She is rude and Rabi en Rose is only her "secret identity" (think superman). Her real name is Hikaru Usada, and she gets pissed off when someone reveals her real identity. Her real name is a play on the words of the JPOP idol singer, Hikaru Utada, the "Britney Spears" of Japan.
PYOCOLA (PYOCOLA ANALOUGE THE THIRD)
Pyocola is the rival to Dejiko, because her planet, The Black Gema Gema Dan, were the invaders of her home planet that forced her to have to flee to earth. She is cute and has a Organization to protect her, the PKO. She has a mouth attack. They open up a rival Gamers store in one episode called Black Gamers!

A round yellow ball who often falls victim to the MIKARA BIIMU. He is loyal and will always give Dejiko advice. He is so cute! |
